CENTRAL KALIMANTAN – PT Korintiga Hutani (KTH) handed over a donation of 10,000 Eucalyptus pellita seedlings to the Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Agency of Central Kalimantan Province in early June. This contribution is part of the company’s Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) program aimed at supporting environmental conservation and green infrastructure development in the Central Kalimantan region.
The handover of the donation was formalized through an official agreement signed by the representative of PT Korintiga Hutani, Maarif. The donation was received by Dedy Apriadi, a staff member of the West Kotawaringin Regency PUPR Agency, representing the Central Kalimantan Province PUPR Agency.
The Eucalyptus pellita seedlings are slated to be utilized to support reforestation programs and green infrastructure initiatives across various areas. Through this contribution, the company aims to actively encourage the expansion of green spaces and promote sustainable environmental conservation.
Maarif, Head of CSC Communications at PT Korintiga Hutani, stated that this initiative is part of the company’s broader support for sustainable development in the region.
“Through this CSC program, we aim to contribute to sustainable development in Central Kalimantan. This donation of Eucalyptus pellita seedlings is a manifestation of our support for local communities and government initiatives in building greener infrastructure,” Maarif stated.
The event was also marked by a symbolic handover of the seedlings in Modang Mas, Menthobi Raya District, Lamandau Regency. This handover signifies the collaboration between the company and regional stakeholders in supporting reforestation programs.
