NANGA BULIK – As part of its commitment to “Work for the Nation,” PT Korintiga Hutani continues to assist and empower its target villages through its 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
This commitment translates into various forms of support across several sectors, with a major focus this year on vulnerable worker protection and public health. The official handover took place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Topalan Village Office in Menthobi Raya District, Lamandau Regency.
During the event, the company distributed BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (social security) memberships for vulnerable workers in Topalan, Batu Ampar, and Lubuk Hiju villages. Additionally, it provided aid for stunting and malnutrition management, essential supplies for infants and pregnant women, and technical equipment to support food security programs in the three villages.

The event was attended by local officials and community leaders, including the Menthobi Raya District Head, representatives from the Lamandau Manpower and Transmigration Office and the Village Community Empowerment Office, village heads from Topalan, Batu Ampar, and Lubuk Hiju, alongside BPJS Ketenagakerjaan beneficiaries.
The agenda highlighted a symbolic handover of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan memberships to 105 vulnerable workers. The Head of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan presented the memberships to the Director of PT Korintiga Hutani, who then distributed the participant cards to community representatives. During the same occasion, PT Korintiga Hutani also received a certificate of appreciation from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
Acting Topalan Village Head Singpi expressed his gratitude for the company’s ongoing support, hoping the BPJS program for vulnerable workers will continue next year.
“We in Topalan Village have received a lot of help from PT Korintiga Hutani. We thank you and fully support the company’s presence, and we hope this partnership can be further strengthened,” he said.
Echoing this sentiment, Head of Lamandau BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Yusef Dwi Jayadi explained the significant benefits of the membership, ranging from covered medical expenses to death benefits for the participants’ families. This program also aligns with the Lamandau Regent Regulation No. 25 of 2024 concerning the Implementation of Employment Social Security Programs.
“We appreciate PT Korintiga Hutani for covering the membership costs for these vulnerable workers through its CSR program,” Yusef noted.
Menthobi Raya District Head Syahruni also praised the company’s contribution in helping the community amid limited government budgets. “We hope the cooperation we have built can be maintained and provide broad benefits to the public,” he stated.
Meanwhile, PT Korintiga Hutani Director Hirotaka Sato emphasized the company’s deep concern for the health and safety of the surrounding communities. The aid provided ranges from supplementary food for pregnant women to employment social security.
“We hope our presence can deliver tangible benefits and foster a good relationship with the community,” Sato remarked.
Lamandau Regent Rizky Aditya Putra, who joined the event virtually, appreciated the synergy between the private sector and the government.
“We hope this assistance benefits the community and strengthens the collaboration among all parties, ensuring that development in Lamandau Regency runs smoothly,” he concluded. (sam)
