PANGKALAN BUN – Korintiga Hutani (KTH) is among the companies facilitating road improvement and maintenance projects for the routes of Riam-Panahan and Gandis-Sukarami-Pangkut in North Arut Subdistrict, West Kotawaringin Regency. Its support was demonstrated through a groundbreaking ceremony report signing on Thursday (8/8).
At the event, West Kotawaringin’s interim regent Budi Santosa made known his appreciation and gratitude to the industrial forest company for its frequent contributions to regional development initiatives.
“It is crucial that we continue to improve this already great partnership. Given our limited budget, local governments cannot build regions and especially infrastructure without the backing of investors or companies. So to ensure a good investment climate, stability and security must be maintained,” Santosa said in his speech.
KTH has made consistent efforts to participate in the Road Infrastructure Consortium since the program’s launch in 2017. This is part of the firm’s commitment and social responsibility to local communities and authorities.
The company, through its Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) programs, will always support regional government programs to speed up developments across sectors, Korintiga Hutani’s deputy general manager Rais Sugito stated.
“Road infrastructure has a major role in driving equality in terms of economic growth and prosperity. Korintiga Hutani is committed to supporting state programs that enable faster construction of roads,” Sugito added.
As part of its long-term commitment, Korintiga Hutani pledges to continue promoting sustainable development programs by focusing on improving community quality of life and maintaining environmental balance. KTH believes sustainable development is key to creating lasting, positive impacts for the next generation. (PR)
