PT Korintiga Hutani is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Nursery Manager to join our team in West Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing nursery operations, overseeing seedling production, and ensuring the highest quality standards in every aspect of our nursery activities. Key Responsibilities

Manage daily nursery operations, including work scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with the planting team.

Oversee the plant production process from propagation to shipping preparation, ensuring consistent quality standards.

Monitor plant health, identify pests or diseases, and implement effective pest management strategies.

Efficiently manage inventories of seedlings, nutrients, and other production materials.

Train and mentor the nursery team to enhance their skills and competencies in plant management.

Record and report seedling production data, including plant growth rates and resource utilization.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure production targets are achieved.

Conduct routine inspections of nursery facilities and ensure optimal infrastructure maintenance.
Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum of a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Horticulture, Agriculture, Biology, or a related discipline.

At least 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Nursery Manager or in crop plantation operations.

Deep knowledge of plant cultivation techniques, pest and disease control, and plant nutrient management.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Understanding of sustainable agricultural practices and environmental management standards.

Proficiency in utilizing production data recording and reporting systems.

Effective communication and strong problem-solving skills.
