BORNEONEWS, Pangkalan Bun – A contribution in infrastructure development of connecting road between a village and urban village in North Arut Subdistrict by giving up productive plants owned by PT Korintiga Hutani received an appreciation from the Vice Regent of West Kotawaringin (Kobar), Ahmadi Riansyah.
“We certainly truly appreciate it, there have been many sacrifices made by PT Korintiga Hutani, I can see that this road being built is a road where productive plants are planted. There are many kilometers sacrificed to contribute in building infrastructure in Kobar, particularly in the North Arut Subdistrict,” he said Tuesday, June 16th, 2020.
On this occasion, the Vice Regent of Kobar, Ahmadi Riansyah along with the office of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) and the Subdistrict Head oversaw a development of a connecting road between Nanga Mua Village to Pangkut Urban Village, Aruta Subdistrict which is being worked on at the 3rd stage in a consortium by PT Korintiga Hutani.
The Vice Regent said that in addition to giving up the productive plants, tools and their function were also facilitated by the company.
He hoped what was done by PT Korintiga Hutani can inspire and motivate other companies to join together and build a more advanced Kobar.
“Actually one of the contributions from the company, as a third party, is how to improve infrastructures, especially roads, bridges, social activities, education, health, and societal matters in the region of Kobar,” he said.
Meanwhile, the General Management of PT Korintiga Hutani, Rais Sugito said that up until now, there are still commitment and consistency towards the local government to realize and help the local government in terms of development acceleration, especially in infrastructure.
“We have showed this commitment since the 1st stage to this 3rd stage of consortium,” he said. Aruta Subdistrict is surrounded by many companies, however it is still left behind and far below other subdistricts.
“Hopefully the opening of this road access can ease people’s mobility. When there is proper road access, the economy will follow suit,” he said. (DANANG/B-6)
