PANGKALAN BUN – Park Jong Myong, the Director of PT Korintiga Hutani (KTH) officially handed over a grant for the construction of an inter-village connecting road to the Kotawaringin Barat (Kobar) Regency Government through the company’s consortium program and was directly accepted by the Regent of Kobar Hj. Nurhidayah on Wednesday (30/1/2019).
PT KTH has been known for often being involved in the development of Kotawaringin Barat (Kobar) Regency. Particularly, in the construction of the road opening with length of approximately 16.5 km and one bridge in Riam Village with the total cost of Rp14.042.683.000,-
“We are truly grateful to Kobar Regency Government for putting trust in us and directly involved us in the regional development activities where we were given trust to build the inter-village connecting road with length of 16.5 km and one bridge in Riam Village. And today, we delivered the work result to Kobar Regency Government,” said Park Jong Myong to a number of reporters following the event of Handover of Grant for Inter-Village Connecting Road Construction.
It is recorded that during the construction of the road opening of 70 km including the 16.5 km length built by PT KTH, it was always being monitored by the Vice Regent of Kobar, Ahmadi Riansyah who was also accompanied by Rois Sugito, the General Manager of PT KTH.
“We, PT Korintiga Hutani received a portion of work to build the 16.5 km road covering Riam Village, Pandau Village, and Panahan Village in Arut Utara Subdistrict, and we are grateful the development is done and it was directly handed over by the Director Park Jong Myong,” claimed Rois Sugito proudly.
According to Rois Sugito, it is hoped that the development aid from PT KTH can be more beneficial particularly for the people living in Arut Utara Subdistrict, and the people living in Kobar Regency in general.
“By opening the road access connecting the villages in Arut Utara Regency that was isolated this whole time, it is hoped that in the future, the people’s economy can grow and the people can be more prosperous,” said Rois Sugito.
