PANGKALAN BUN – PT Korintiga Hutani has once again distributed packages of staple food in the form of rice to the community living around the industrial site area on Wednesday (8/7). These staple food packages are a form of caring from the company toward the surrounding community during the Covid 19 pandemic.
The distribution of these staple food packages was done in two areas, namely Kumai Subdistrict and Pangkalan Banteng Subdistrict.
The social concern which resulted in this CSR assistance is hoped to be able to help people and ease their burden.
PT Korintiga Hutani, represented by its public relations, Guntur Wintara stated that the distribution of these staple food packages is none other than a form of attention and caring from the company toward the community living in PT Korintiga Hutani industrial site area.
“We are distributing these staple food packages straight to the community, and they are grateful for the assistance,” Guntur said.
In the future, his team hoped PT Korintiga Hutani and the community can live side by side, providing support to each other so business activities and the community’s activities can go well simultaneously as they have always been.
As is known, a staple food donation was also previously distributed to the flood victims in North Arut Subdistrict and another donation to the community affected by Covid 19 was also distributed through Kobar Regency Government and Lamandau Regency Government.
A number of donations distributed by PT Korintiga have also received an appreciation from the government for providing assistance amid the Coronavirus outbreak.(sam/oes)
