SB, NANGA BULIK – Lamandau Regent Rizky Aditya Putra, along with Vice Regent Abdul Hamid, attended the handover ceremony for the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for the renovation of the SDN 1 Batu Ampar school building in Menthobi Raya District, Lamandau Regency, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
The Regent’s attendance at the handover ceremony for the 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program assistance highlights the company’s commitment to improving the quality of education in the region.
Also present at the event were the Lamandau Chief of Police, President Director of KTH PT. Korintiga Hutani Hironobu Abe, Director Park Jong Myung, heads of related government agencies, district leadership officials, community leaders, religious leaders, and residents of Batu Ampar Village.
In his address, Lamandau Regent Rizky Aditya Putra, on behalf of the Lamandau Regency government, expressed his highest appreciation and gratitude to the management of PT. Korintiga Hutani for their tangible commitment and contribution through the CSR program provided to the people of Lamandau Regency.
“This represents a form of synergy between the business sector and the local government in supporting sustainable development,” said Regent Rizky.
He added that corporate social responsibility is not merely a legal obligation but a manifestation of the company’s care and ethics toward the surrounding environment and community.
“Today, PT Korintiga Hutani has demonstrated that it is not only here to do business but also to contribute,” he explained.
At the same event, Director Park Jong Myung stated in his remarks that this CSR initiative is a manifestation of the company’s care and compliance with regulations, a commitment it has upheld for the community since its inception and in accordance with its capabilities.
“We are committed to advancing and growing together with the community, and we hope to always foster a positive, harmonious, and continuous relationship between the business/investor sector, the government, and the community by prioritizing the principle of ‘bahaum bakuba’ (working together) to make Lamandau even more prosperous,” he remarked.
The 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program assistance includes road repairs leading to Batu Ampar Village; service and repairs to the SDN 1 Batu Ampar building; assistance with land clearing and the planting of corn to support the national food security program; and scholarship assistance for three university students from the villages of Lubuk Hiju, Batu Ampar, and Topalan in Menthobi Raya District.
“We hope this assistance will be useful and beneficial for the community and the Lamandau Regency government,” he concluded. (by/SB)
