PANGKALAN BUN — Korintiga Hutani (KTH) joined the 66th anniversary celebration of West Kotawaringin on Friday (10/3), showing support and recognition of the regency’s progress.
This appearance at the West Kotawaringin Regent Office in Pangkalan Bun also represents efforts to strengthen public-private synergy with the local government. Attending on behalf of Korintiga Hutani were Director Hironobu Abe, Public Relations Officer Erwansyah, and several staff members.
Central Kalimantan Governor Agustiar Sabran led a solemn commemoration ceremony that as well featured West Kotawaringin Regent Nurhidayah and Vice Regent Suyatno, regency government officials, members of Forkopimda (regional leadership communication forums), civil servants, and local students.
In his greetings, Sabran championed support for President Prabowo’s Asta Cita programs, which include Free Lunch, Food Security, and the Merah Putih Cooperative. He pushed for regional independence through West Kotawaringin’s key sectors (plantations, agriculture, fisheries, and mining), as well as tourism and creative economy potential (e.g., Tanjung Puting National Park, Istana Kuning).

Korintiga Hutani’s Director, Hironobu Abe, welcomed this remark, particularly the direction set forth by Sabran.
“We are honored to participate in such an important moment. KTH [Korintiga Hutani] is committed to ensuring support and collaboration with the local government to achieve sustainable, inclusive, and equitable development.”
It’s this collaborative spirit that allows the company, local communities, and government to grow together. Korintiga Hutani’s presence that Friday also demonstrates a strong commitment from the private sector to advancing Central Kalimantan’s prosperity and resilience. (PR)
