Korintiga Hutani Introduces UN Global Compact to Employees

CENTRAL KALIMANTAN – OJI Group’s firm Korintiga Hutani recently announced its participation in UN Global Compact and support for the pact’s ten principles (Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact). This move is part of efforts to embed sustainability into company operations further while demonstrating social responsibility.

A session was held Friday (8/1) to introduce the initiative to employees. Korintiga Hutani hopes to cultivate a professional, ethical, and high-integrity workplace and ensure its processes align with global standards promoting sustainable and responsible practices.

The event, taking place at the company headquarters, also aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of company policies and regulations. Workers are encouraged to improve their work quality and help the company achieve its goals effectively.

“We believe our vision is built on the strong understanding that our staff members have of their roles and responsibilities,” said Korintiga Hutani’s Vice President Director Park Jong Myung.

By educating the workforce on its UN Global Compact commitment, the timber supplier and manufacturer has contributed to sustainable development. Onwards, Korintiga Hutani expects to build better synergy with its internal stakeholders and establish a work environment based on harmony, honesty, and discipline.
