SUKARAMI, NORTH ARUT – On Friday, March 15th 2024, a short circuit-induced fire broke out in Sukarami Village, North Arut Subdistrict (West Kotawaringin). That evening, flames engulfed a home with most of its furniture still inside.
Despite this incident happening months ago, the house remains in terrible shape. Korintiga Hutani is encouraged to financially assist the owners.
The company’s PR Division has recently handed cash assistance to Sukarami Village leader in a symbolic ceremony, where this money would later be passed on to the affected family.
PR official Masdar hoped theowners would benefit from the aid. “We hope this cash support would be useful for the victims. May the family have the patience and strength to accept what has happened.”
Sukarami Village leader, who also oversees Tengau Village, thanked the company for its attention. “We would like to thank Korintiga Hutani for paying attention to our fire-affected residents.”
This initiative is part of Korintiga Hutani’s corporate social responsibility work, and its commitment to running programs that focus on community and the environment aside from profit making. (Renee/KTH)
