NATAI PERAMUAN – Out of concern for local people, Korintiga Hutani (KTH) put together a social initiative Saturday (6/15) where it provided cash support to orphans in Sungai Kuning Village. KTH’s Natai Peramuan PR official Suriansyah handed over the money to Sungai Kuning village leader Waluyo S. PKP.
“We offer orphan financial aid as our way to care for and share joy with those in need in nearby villages,” said Suriansyah.
Waluyo responded with gratitude and expected residents to use this money well. “I hope this support strengthens our ties [with the company] and brings the company blessings during these increasingly challenging times.”
It was a simple handover ceremony, with only a KTH representative and a Sungai Kuning village official present. Despite that, camaraderie still filled the air.
Orphan financial aid is both a corporate contribution to and a way of bonding with local communities. It demonstrates KTH’s commitment to ensuring business sustainability that balances economic, social, and environmental goals. (Renie/KTH)
