PELLITA – Rural communities continue to face learning challenges, especially in inner Central Kalimantan. The lack of local educational infrastructure and tools calls for serious attention from all stakeholders.
Once again demonstrating its awareness of this issue and support for local education, Korintiga Hutani (KTH) provided 44 desks and 45 chairs for Rimba Pellita Private Elementary, and has also initiated a classroom construction project.
Students were very excited with their new seats and desks; their expression a testament to how educational aid helps rural schools. Also, since the classroom project rolled out in August, the kids and teachers have felt increasingly encouraged in creating a better learning environment.

“We’re so grateful for the donations. It’s a meaningful one and will definitely [help] us improve our teaching and learning process,” said Rimba Pellita principal Wono Mardika.
Korintiga Hutani’s Deputy General Manager Rais Sugito hoped their action would drive progress at Rimba Pellita.
“We aim to enhance education quality [in Rimba Pellita] and ease learning for students.”
Korintiga Hutani is strongly committed to supporting advancements in local education and making ongoing contributions to society and youth through CSR programs. (PR)
