NANGA BULIK – Korintiga Hutani was presented with an award at this year’s celebration of Bhayangkara Day (Indonesian National Police anniversary). The company has played its part as a corporate partner in ensuring food security in Lamandau Regency.
Participating in the ceremony Tuesday (7/1) were Lamandau Regional Peoples Representative Council (DPRD) leader Herianto, Lamandau Departmental Police Force leader, and Korintiga Hutani’s PR & Forest Community Empowerment Manager Erwansyah Ardi. The awarding took place at the hall of Lamandau Departmental Police Office, Nanga Bulik Subdistrict.
“We feel honored for the recognition [of our work]. It will definitely fuel us to contribute even more to sustainable development efforts,” said Ardi in an official statement.
The timber and biomass firm operates a corn farm within its concession and an area of Batu Ampar, a village it supports.

The 1-hectare initiative is devoted to reinforcing local food systems and public-private collaborations that promote better community well-being.
Through its partnership with the local government and police, Korintiga Hutani is committed to championing socially impactful programs that focus on food security, community empowerment, and environmental preservation.
The company also hopes to continue aiding in state efforts that encourage inclusive, sustainable development and align with its sustainability principles. (PR)
