NANGA BULIK– Korintiga Hutani was presented with an award at this year’s celebration of Bhayangkara Day (Indonesian National Police anniversary). The company has played its part as a corporate partner in ensuring food security in Lamandau Regency.
Participating in the ceremony Tuesday (7/1) were Lamandau Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) leader Herianto, Lamandau Departmental Police Force leader, and Korintiga Hutani’s PR & Forest Community Empowerment Manager Erwansyah Ardi. The awarding took place at the hall of Lamandau Departmental Police Office, Nanga Bulik Subdistrict.
“We feel honored for the recognition [of our work]. It will definitely fuel us to contribute even more to sustainable development efforts,” said Ardi in an official statement.
The timber and biomass firm operates a corn farm within its concession and an area of Batu Ampar, a village it supports.
