CENTRAL KALIMANTAN – A team of Health Ministry officials visited Korintiga Hutani (KTH) Polyclinic Thursday (9/11) to conduct monitoring and field assessment.
Led by Public Health Directorate General member Danti Kamalia Sari and Primary and Community Health Care Directorate member Emma Aprilia, the representatives met KTH’s deputy manager Rais Sugito, Polyclinic head Ahmad Miftakul, as well as his medical and administrative staff.
“This visit marks an important opportunity for us to showcase our high-quality service commitments. We believe public-private synergy is key to a strong and inclusive public health system,” said Sugito in the opening speech.
Polyclinic head Miftakul echoed this sentiment.
“We appreciate this gesture from the Health Ministry team,” he said. “Your visit today proves to us the government is paying attention to primary healthcare quality. [Thanks to you,] we feel encouraged to make improvements and deliver the best service possible for our patients.”

In response, Primary and Community Health Care Directorate member Emma Aprilia praised Korintiga Hutani for its readiness to provide care for everyone.
“Korintiga Hutani Polyclinic has demonstrated great readiness and a collaborative spirit throughout this assessment. We hope our visit today helps drive continuous improvement in its services.”
The inspection tour was followed by a traditional Kalimantan dance performance by the students of Rimba Pellita Private Elementary, a Korintiga Hutani-managed school. This performance created a warm and lively atmosphere, while also expressing community support for local healthcare initiatives.
The series of activities on Thursday is part of statewide efforts to standardize primary care and deepen cross-sectoral collaboration, to herald a more equitable and sustainable health system across Indonesia. (PR)
