PANGKALAN BUN – People affected by flood that drowned 10 villages and 1 urban village, particularly in North Arut (Aruta) sub-district, West Kotawaringin, received logistical support from PT Korintiga Hutani (KTH).
The Director of PT.Korintiga Hutani, Park Jong Myung, who is familiarly called Mr. Park, said that the logistical support from the company was provided as proof of the company’s concern for the people of Aruta.
“The aid from the company to the people of Aruta is not only provided during the flood, but long before, the company has been establishing partnership through the CSR program that has helped many communities and the village government in Aruta sub-district,” said Mr.Park, accompanied by the General Manager of PT. KTH, Rais Sugito, after delivering the logistic aid in Aruta Sub-District Hall on Saturday (11/3/2017).
In a separate statement, Rais Sugito said that the aid provided by PT.Korintiga Hutani consist of 210 boxes of Sarimi, 4,200 Kg of rice, 300 boxes of mineral water. In addition, PT. Korintiga Hutani also gave free medical treatment by providing doctors, medics and medicines.
The free medical treatment starts from Panahan village, North Arut sub-district, based on a consideration that Panahan village is the first village affected by the flood. (man/beritasampit.co.id)
