PANGKALAN BUN – The Deputy Regent of West Kotawaringin (Kobar), Ahmadi Riansyah, made a visit to oversee the construction of a connecting road between Nanga Mua Village and Pangkut Sub-district, Arut Utara (Aruta) District, Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
In this activity, Ahmadi Riansyah was accompanied by the Head of Public Works and Housing of Kobar, Juni Gultom, the Head of Aruta Sub-district, and Aruta Millitary Command. Ahmadi said this road construction is the third stage of the consortium carried out by PT Korintiga Hutani.
“In the midst of this Covid-19 outbreak, we are not only focused on accelerating the handling of Covid-19, but we also must remain consistent with the infrastructure improvement programs, one of which is by opening access to alternative road from villages to sub-districts and districts, and this is an effort to explore economic growth,” Ahmadi explained.
This third consortium carried out by PT Korintiga Hutani was originally stated on the MoU as a 7.5 Km road, but it turned out to be 17.5 Km. Based on the budget calculation, the cost would be Rp9.5 billion.
Ahmadi expressed his appreciation to PT Korintiga Hutani for the strong commitment and consistency to realize and help the local government in development acceleration, particularly in infrastructure.
Ahmadi hoped that the road construction can run well and smoothly, so villages in Aruta Sub-district can develop and progress, in terms of infrastructure and economy. (Risa/beritasampit.co.id).
