THE PLANTING OF EUCALYPTUS PELLITA

Our main planting species is Eucalyptus pellita. It is one of the priorities for Industrial Plantation Forest (HTI) in Indonesia considering its easy-to-adapt nature and the wood can be utilized for raw materials of pulp and engineering wood.

We’re planting other specieses including local species such as Jabon putih, in order to improve plant biodiversity and resources. We believe a critical issue for the future of plantation forests is how to combine biodiversity maintenance and wood production at various spatial scales.
