About Us

PT. Korintiga Hutani (KTH) is a leading industrial forest plantation company based in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, dedicated to sustainable forestry, environmental conservation, and community development. Since its establishment, KTH has been committed to responsible forest management while supporting Indonesia’s forestry sector.

In 1998, we obtained an afforestation permit for the pulp and paper industry and began planting Eucalyptus and Acacia. As of 2025, we are in our fourth plantation cycle, with Eucalyptus as our primary species. By focusing on sustainable plantation practices, we ensure a steady supply of wood products, maintain ecological balance, and contribute to local economic growth.

At KTH, responsible forestry management is at the core of our operations. We not only ensure a sustainable wood supply for our customers but also protect the broader environmental benefits of forestry. To support the local community, we have built roads, schools, and educational programs while also carrying out medical, sanitation, and firefighting initiatives.

In addition, we have designated protected forests within our concession area and collaborate with NGOs to safeguard local biodiversity. A key focus is our Orangutan Habitat Protection Program, through which we are developing an ecological corridor to connect protected forest areas and ensure the long-term survival of endangered species.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to sustainability, community engagement, and environmental responsibility, ensuring a balanced and thriving forestry sector for generations to come.
